"Hawk Automation completed the automation and commissioning of the sixth pellet press at Nature’s Flame, Taupo. The expansion was to enable Nature’s Flame to increase production of their high-quality wood pellets. Hawk Autoamtion were chosen for their extensive knowledge of the site, but also because their offer best matched the project requirements. Artifex Engineering had worked alongside Hawk Automation previously and we were confident that they could deliver what was required.

The Hawk Automation team were easy to deal with, efficient, and responsive. Their attention to detail was evident, and they completed all documentation and met all schedule milestones. Factory acceptance testing proved they had tested their code, and they made adjustments as necessary to assist with site commissioning. On-site commissioning went smoothly, and the equipment was handed over ahead of schedule with all commissioning niggles resolved and the operators happy with the functionality. The team were competent and professional, and we look forward to the next opportunity to work with them."
